基于ERA-Interim再分析数据的南海波浪能资源评估

EVALUATION OF WAVE ENERGY RESOUCES IN SOUTH CHINA SEA BASED ON RE-ANALYZED DATA OF ERA-INTERIM

摘要: 利用欧洲中期天气预报中心近37 a(1979年1月—2015年12月)ERA-interim高分辨率(0.125°×0.125°)波浪再分析数据,计算南海海域的波浪能流密度、有效波高、平均周期、有效波时等波浪能参数,分析南海海域的波浪能资源时空分布特征。研究表明:1)南海波浪能资源呈现明显的季节分布特征,冬季资源最丰富,秋季次之,夏季最贫乏;2)波浪能资源丰富区位于吕宋海峡—中南半岛东南海域一线,呈东北—西南走向,大值区为吕宋海峡附近海域,波浪能流密度高达16 kW/m;3)综合考虑能流密度、有效波时间、与大陆最近港口距离和岛礁面积,建议A(112.33°E,16.81°N)岛屿作为开发利用的首选。

Abstract: Based on the high resolution re-analyzed wave data of ERA-interim, we calculate some wave energy parameters, such as wave power density, significant wave height, average period, and effective wave time. The dataset provided by the European Centre for Medium-Range Weather Forecasts (ECMWF) spends nearly 37 years (January 1997—December 2015), and the resolution is 0.125°×0.125°. Our research indicates that the wave energy resources in the South China Sea show obvious seasonal distribution, which reach the peak in winter, and hit the bottom in summer. The area with the most abundant wave energy resources locates in a northeast-to-southwest line that links Luzon Strait and the southeastward direction of Indo China Peninsula. The maximum zone is closed to the Luzon Strait. The wave energy flow density in this area is up to 16 kW/m. considering the wave power, effective wave time, the distance from the nearest port to the mainland and the area of islands,we recommend a site “A” as the best choice for future exploitations.
