NEW EQUALIZATION TOPOLOGY FOR BATTERY PACKS BASED ON THREE-WINDING TRANSFORMER

摘要: 储能电池组中单体电压不一致性问题严重影响储能系统的安全稳定运行,为此提出一种基于三绕组变压器的任意单体-单体类型主动均衡拓扑,该拓扑可实现均衡能量在电压最高电池单体与电压最低电池单体之间直接传输,具有均衡速度快、效率高、成本低等优点。搭建仿真模型与小型实验电路,仿真与实验结果表明了新型拓扑在均衡速度和效率方面的优势以及在实际应用中的可行性。

Abstract: Voltage inconsistency of cell in an energy storage battery pack seriously affects the safe and stable operation of the energy storage system. We propose an any cell to cell active equalization topology based on a three-winding transformer, which can realize the direct transfer of equalization energy between the highest voltage cell and the lowest voltage cell, with the advantages of fast equalization speed, high efficiency and low cost. Simulation models and small experimental circuit are built, and the simulation and experimental results show the advantages of the new topology in terms of equalization speed and efficiency as well as its feasibility in practical applications.
